Course Title:
Microsoft 365 Administrator
Course Overview:
This course is based on the Microsoft 365 Administrator role and prepares learners for expert-level responsibilities including evaluating, planning, migrating, deploying, and managing Microsoft 365 environments. The Microsoft 365 Administrator performs tenant-level planning, implementation, and administration for cloud and hybrid environments.
This role acts as the central hub across all Microsoft 365 workloads—collaborating with architects and other workload administrators to manage endpoints, infrastructure, applications, identity, security, and compliance.
Administrators in this role should have experience across Microsoft 365 services and Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory), and a foundational understanding of networking, DNS, server administration, and PowerShell scripting.
Target Audience:
This course is ideal for professionals pursuing the Microsoft 365 Administrator role and who have already completed one of the role-based Microsoft 365 certification paths (e.g., Messaging, Teamwork, Security, Compliance, or Collaboration).

Prerequisites:
- Completion of a role-based administrator course (e.g., Messaging, Teamwork, Security & Compliance, or Collaboration)
- Proficient understanding of DNS
- Basic functional experience with Microsoft 365 services
- Working knowledge of PowerShell
- Proficient understanding of general IT practices
Examination:
- Candidates must be familiar with PowerShell and how it is used to complete tasks in Microsoft 365
